Building Community • Supporting Students
The Stoner Prairie Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a non-profit corporation made up of volunteer parents and/or guardians of students at Stoner Prairie Elementary School located in Fitchburg, Wisconsin and part of the Verona Area School district. The PTO fundraises to provide grants, host social events, and build community partnerships to support Stoner Prairie Elementary School.
The objectives of our organization are:
To support the goals and objectives of Stoner Prairie Elementary School;
To provide opportunities for the school community to learn, grow, and achieve together;
To embrace families and encourage all families to feel welcome members of the school community;
To provide a venue for teachers and parents to contribute to the mission of Stoner Prairie Elementary School.
The PTO is led by elected volunteers, committee chairs, and general members (any parent/guardian of a Stoner Prairie Student). The PTO works closely with the principal and the Stoner Prairie Staff. Committees are established as needed and run by volunteers of the general membership.
The PTO meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Stoner Prairie Elementary School Library unless otherwise noted.
