The Annual Stoner Prairie Fun Run is an event where student fundraising efforts are combined with community donations to support activities and educational opportunities for students and staff at Stoner Prairie Elementary.
Funds raised from sponsorships go directly to funding a free t-shirt for every Stoner Prairie student.
Funds raised by families support staff grant requests that assist student learning, student and staff development opportunities, and fun family events throughout the year.
Students will run/walk a 0.20 mile tracked loop at Stoner Prairie for 20 minutes. Each 1 hour session of the Fun Run includes a warm-up, run, and a post-race snack. There will be music, signs, bubbles and our Wildcat mascot!
Last year 400 students and 45 staff members participated in the Fun Run and were able to raise over $12,000 for Stoner Prairie Elementary.
2025 marks our third year of the Fun Run which will be held on Wednesday, October 1st.
